If I draw the curves and the shift correctly but leave the axes unlabeled, is that still full credit?
Accepted answer
Treat labels as part of the answer, not decoration. Graders read the graph literally, so an unlabeled or mislabeled axis is a common place to lose an otherwise-earned point.
For AD-AS specifically: vertical axis **Price Level** (not "price"), horizontal axis **Real GDP** (or real output). Label every curve you draw (AD, SRAS, LRAS), mark the initial equilibrium, and use arrows plus primes (AD → AD′) to show the shift and the new equilibrium.
A reliable habit: draw and label the axes before you think about the shift. It costs a few seconds and protects the points you actually earned.
